There are a few films which I have said afterwards "there's an hour and a half of my life I'm never getting back" or where I have enjoyed the trailers more than the film. Having said that there is only one film to my mind that deserves the worst movie of all time title and that is Mickey Blue Eyes..... I watched it without any sharp instruments within grasping distance, and while trying to poison myself by licking the theatre seats and floor I was not able to end my life quickly enough to not have to watch this rubbish..... A bad film and a poorly stomach lol

The Cider House Rules. It's such a bad adaptation of the book that i threw the dvd across the room after i'd watched it. The book is BRILLIANT and the movie was so bad that i get cross even thinking about it. Dreadful film. It should never have been made... there are loads more i hate but that one sticks out in my mind the most. If anyone else agrees with me then get in touch!

Worryingly two of my favourite movies appear in this list - Straight Story and Field Of Dreams - but then I suppose I am one of the few people who actually like films when nothing much happens but are beautifully made.... worst movie ever made - difficult to choose an outright worst but Showgirls is utter dross.

The Tennessee Beat, without a doubt, the single worst movie ever made. I heard Ted Turner bought up all the copies and had them destroyed.

For crappy, non-entertaining "there not even bad in a funny Attack of the Killer Tomatoes way", boring, well-funded dross, the genuine contenders have to be -
Batman & Robin,
Pearl Harbour
The Blair Witch Project (OK, not well funded, but well promoted)
Lost in Translation
Barb Wire
Battlefield Earth
Lost in Space
Showgirls
Spice World
Star Wars Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace
Wild Wild West
My personal choice would be Batman & Robin as it is unredeemable in any way. I took a girl on a date to watch that and endured 2 of the worst hours of my life. I then had to endure 3 of the most miserable years of my life with her, and it all started with Batman n Robin.

Godzilla, Armageddon, The Blair Witch Project must all be in with a shout.
My personal favourite so bad its good movie is Killers Invincible (the tag line: the drugs are hard but the killing is easy!) And there is a Ninja in a gold lame suit... what more could you ask for :D

To be honest it depends on how you take the question. in terms of bad movies there will be millions that people won't of heard of but are truly awful 'b-movies' to name one "mutant on the bounty"
SYNOPSIS
An interplanetary research team is in for unidentified flying laughs when a musician who is lost in space crash-lands aboard their ship. Even more hilariously, the ravages of deep space have transformed him into a horrific freak--and two unidentified men give chase.
Obviously this has to come close. But if you mean Big budget films then Look at something Like Pearl Harbour or Waterworld.

Ah - difficult question. To me, it's a close race between Batman & Robin, Air Force One and Underworld: Evolution. Movies like Plan 9 From Outer Space don't even come close, because they're so bad they're funny - and being funny gives them entertainment quality. The ones I've mentioned have NO qualities, they just make me furious.

There's not only one, there's several! Napolean Dynamite, Date Movie, An American Haunting, Snake Eater, The Day After, Hide And Seek, XXX (Vin Diesel), Roll Bounce, anything with an all black cast, Blair Witch Project, House of the Dead, Bill and Ted, Rushmore and anything by Wes Anderson, 54, Jason X, and several more! Next question, please.
