For 150...
I'd say get a Justice of the peace...
Go to your most favorite place and remarry.
Only YOU get to say all the magic words in your heart....
just let him be speechless...
then make the poor bastard sign a declaration to remain married another 40 years!!! :)
Congratulations to the both of you.
I wish you a wonderful day of celebration and many, many more.

RE:
It's our Ruby, 40 years, wedding anniversary in a few weeks. Any ideas what to buy my husband?
You know how difficult men are when it comes to buying presents for them. Around £150.00 Thank you

Congradulations on putting up with your husband for so long. LOL! It is amazing to see marriages that last 40 years. After being married that long, you know your husband better than anyone. I think that you will know exactly what to get him. He will like it just because it is from you, and it will come from the heart. Take a nice vacation, relax, and enjoy your day.. It is your day after all and only you can decide what is right for the two of you. Good Luck with everything, and again Congradulations..

That's really beautiful, congratulations
I'm assuming you're after a keepsake rather than say a champagne balloon ride, but without knowing you both I suggest you type ruby into the search on ebay, you'll get a ton of ideas and a heck of a lot more present for your money.
Have a wonderful day x

Congratulations, that's amazing! I hope you'll have a wonderful day! I've added a few site suggestions at the bottom. If you search on Google, you'll find even more. All the best for the future!!!
PS: if money is not a problem, why not take him on a second honeymoon, or revisit a place that means something to the 2 of you?

this has nothing to do with paper, but on my husbnad and I's 1st anniversary we didn't have much money at the time and I made him a CD with all songs that reminded me of each other. Inside joke songs, or some love songs... he really liked it. I just put in the cd player and he wasn't aloud to see what songs were on there and we went through each one. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

after 40 years memories are the best thing you can get him.how about taking him som place you went before when you first met.or if he likes to read go to books by you.com for around 35 dollars they will print up a romance novel staring you and him!awsome..did this myself.or if they have a glamour shots near you have your picture done.and sometimes the best gift doesnt cost anything but imagination and a healthy drive..if you catch my drift..lol.congradulations and i pray youll have fourty more.

Congratulations on your anniversary.
How about buying your husband a beautiful pen, and getting something personal engraved on it, like the date that you got married.

TV is produced to the lowest common denominator - i.e., the average IQ of the general public, whereas a written e book is written to the best common denominator
