You should advise her to stay away from clubs and away from smoke.

OK, lets get real. She cares enough about her unborn child enough to ask the question so I would assume she is a perfectly good mum to be.
If she wants to go clubbing and feels up to it then I can't see anything wrong with it. I'm no doctor but I've read a lot about pregnancy as I'm about to embark on IVF (fingers crossed) at the end of the year.
The advice seems to be to give up smoking and limit alcohol, although some people say to quit alcohol. She really should be ok in a club for a few hours as long as she's not drinking heavily or smoking. Try to use the no smoking room if thereis one, and stick to wine or a beer or two. Don't drink spirits.
By 3 and a half months the baby has finished its developing stage and all major organs are in place. It ust has to grow so a little exposure to smoke as a one off won't make a difference.

I went clubbing upto 8 months. I only went with a group and was very careful that no one knocked me, I usually went home by 10 as I was knackered.
Smokey atmospheres will damage the unborn baby, esp in the early stages of pregnancy,
Why not suggest a non smoking place to your friend, just because she is pregnant dosent mean she has to become house bound and give her social life up. It just means she needs to make a few minor changes.
Why not take her to a none smoking one youself. Its nicer anyways! Even if your not pregnant.

If this is one of the few places where she encounters smoke then I wouldn't worry too much. Like anything passive smoking is a numbers game - the less of it you receive the less likely you are to harm your health
Don't wrap her up in cotton wool and make her go forego some of lifes pleasures. 2 or 3 hours of passive smoking here and there is a small risk - lets face it
I'd rather my mother have a healthy psychological demeanour, than be a mental freak by worrying too much about risk to my health whilst I was in the womb

Tell her the hard facts: Second hand is worse than 1st hand. Not only can she have serious complications but the baby's life is at stake like low birthweight. Plus, if she is responsible she should not be out at clubs.

I think if she wants to go to a club then thats fine, as long as it isnt all the time, and she isnt smoking herself.
Yes yes, we all know second hand smoke is also bad for you, but its one night for a couple of hours, I'm sure it wont do any harm.

Well, if she really love her baby, she should stop going places with lots of smoke plus alcohol. I mean if she really don't want this baby, she should use protection at the first place. Don't kill/harm a innocent cute life. What a 'mother' she is??????
Tell her u care for her and don't want her to suffer later if anything happened to her baby. Love herself as well as her baby.

Absolutely not. Second hand smoke has more toxins than the smoke from your own cigarette. Best not to confront, just quietly talk to the bouncers and get them to kick her out.

You could advise her to go clubbing in Scotland, where smoking is banned in all public places!
