i dont think that anything has to do with anything
when one is gay, one is gay
brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts and the rest of the clan aside
it just doesnt matter, one just is... no biggie

so one study has now shown -- it was a controlled study and it was determined that the sexuality became more likely with older biological brothers WHETHER OR NOT the children were raised in the same house -- so it is a further and very strong indicator that homosexuality is biological and not a choice.
We will see if the study replicates.
And to, I think the guy was Damien.... you blame them for making you gay by putting makeup on you? Number one, you don't need to blame anyone -- you are gay because you are gay because you are gay, period. Number two, oh come on. Homosexuality has NOTHING TO DO WITH GENDER IDENTIFICATION, and if you are gay, you should know that. I do not identify as a woman, do not want to be a woman and do not wear makeup. Neither do most gay men I know.
Stop blaming anything, really accept yourself and LIVE.

None that I can think of off the top of my head. Most of the gay people I know are the older brother. But that could just be the law of averages

I haven't, but another study said once that lesbians were more likely to be firstborn children (which I am). They run these studies because they get too much grant money - they would be better off looking for a cure for cancer.
It's all a load of cobblers really - looking for scientific basis for what everyone knows is a naturally occurring state.
Do they do as much research into the 'cause' of red hair?

They just did a study that was released a day or two ago....I think the liklihood increases or it was decided a fair number of gays have older brothers. Not all, but a lot.

I never thought of that before but I know of a family of 8 (all male), the first 4 are all heterosexual and the youngest 4 are all gay.

Yes it's true and some quite reasonable research is going into this phenomenon. I had an older brother and i have had to supress my feminine side all my life.
