i heard in her saying in an interview that this song is about relationships and small mistakes that family members make. but this is not a 'pity me' song, it says that u have made a mistake, now realise it and do it the right way. also this song is for all the younger audience kelly has and the problems they face when their parents split up and then dont know how to deal with it.
this song is very close to kelly as she wrote it when she was 16 and actually started crying when making the video(the very last scene).

I can, if I relate it to paranoia.
"I lose my way, and it's not too long before you point it out" - People tell of how I am, and they know too much about me, before even meeting me.
The song emphasizes a sense of loss. I've lost my mental freedom. I'd say this definitely relates to me.
