I have ignored a buddy in yahoo messenger, but I still receive his messages and offlines. what can i do? how can i solve this problem? he is already in the ignore list but the ignore list apparently is not working. i am sick of this person.

use the stealth setting option in the yahoo messenger to let the person to know that you are in offline. :)
Install the new yahoo Messenger -- > Right click on that particular person who you need to hide, and go for Stealth Settings option, there you could see online, offline and permanently offline, you could use the permanently offline option to to let that person to know that you are the not available on the net permanently.
Does it make sense ?.

Next time he msg u, report it as a spam n put it in ignore list, delete him/her from ur contact list and form address book also.!!

That same thing happened to me and I never did find a solution. Keep clicking ignore.

Maybe you need to will ignore him. Put him in these list.
