it's a shame your religion teaches you it's a sin. I think there are a lot of things worse than this. If you have any answers from woman saying they don't, don't necessarily believe them. You are not the only one and I don't think you will go to hell. That is saved for rapists, murderers and paedophiles

First kill the thought of "a sin". And being an Indian if masturbation pleasures you and if u don't feel the need for a partner before marriage.... It only helps you stay away from trouble( all kinds of family and social misunderstanding)

Research has proven that mastubation relieves stress, relaxes several parts of the body. So DO IT whenever you feel like. Don't over do. or don't try extreme.. And me and many of my friends mastubate atleast twice a week. I guess the only girls who don't masturbate are those who are not mature yet.

first of all Masturbation is a completely normal and fine thing to do, it is not a sin because there is no act of sex with you and another person. If you enjoy it then continue, but remember that is a think you keep in private.

ironically I was at my church and there was a brief sermon on "self pleasure" and the priest said it was perfectly fine, because it is something that you do on your own and it is not sex between you and another person (i know I all ready said that) and if you feel guilty confess, or stop. Then again I'm not exactly sure what religion you are so, you might want to check your religious beliefs and then decide from there

if you feel guilty..THERE is a reason...self mastery...or self control IS definitely the reason behind this...whatever your religion is...you should follow it..DON'T DO THINGS THAT GIVE YOU THIS FEELING..YOUR CONSCIENCE IS TELLING YOU THIS FOR A REASON...MOST CHURCHES DO NOT ALLOW IT AND MOST PEOPLE IGNORE THAT...BUT IGNORING IT DOESN'T MAKE IT LESS OF A SIN BECAUSE DOCTORS SAY DIFFERENT...HOW MANY TIMES DO WE ASK FOR 2ND OPINIONS FROM DOCTORS? WHY ARE DOCTORS THE ONES THAT HATE BEING TREATED AS PATIENTS MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE??? BECAUSE THEY KNOW WHEN THEY'RE GETTING CRAPPY TREATMENT...THEY AREN'T PASTORS...THEY'RE DOCTORS..THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT MORAL DECISIONS..

i don't care if people like my answer or not...doing the popular thing...is not always doing the right thing... if I fell for peer pressure in HS...I'd still be drinking and smoking from being tempted in HS..

Is it a sin? Depends on your religion - but possibly still, they all seem to be against it. Does everyone do it? Most people do.
