If I was Lois Lane I'd get some hair wax or something and slick that curl back or something. That would work my last nerve.
At least Clark on Smallville has yet to go to the hair curl of super-dom. Heh.

The hair looks... well, supermanish. Kinda silly haircut, but who the hell would have the guts to say that to his face? Besides, he has to cut his own hair, remember (no earthly tool could slice super-hair), so be kind to the man.
