is it ok to have sex when you're 6 weeks pregnant?

Oral sex: Oral sex is as safe as it is pleasurable throughout pregnancy as long as your partner doesn't blow any air into your vagina. (There's a theoretical risk that forcefully blown air could enter your bloodstream and cause an embolism, obstruct a blood vessel, and prove deadly to both you and your baby.) Oral stimulation of the penis is also safe during pregnancy, as is swallowing semen.

Anal sex: Anal sex is probably safe during pregnancy, but proceed to the back door with caution. First, it probably won't be comfortable if you have hemorrhoids, an occupational hazard of pregnancy; plus anal sex can make your hemorrhoids bleed. Second, you'll need to remember the same safety rules of anal sex whether you're pregnant or not: Never go from anal to vaginal sex without cleaning up first. Doing so may introduce harmful bacteria into your vaginal canal, setting you up for infection and risk to the baby.

Masturbation: Unless orgasm is off-limits because of a high-risk pregnancy or premature labor, masturbating during pregnancy is perfectly safe — and a great way to release all that tension you're feeling.

Vibrators or dildos: Could cause infections if not properly sanitized. As long as your practitioner has okayed vaginal penetration (probably off-limits if you have incompetent cervix, placenta previa, preterm labor, or other conditions), dildos and vibrators are safe to use during pregnancy; after all, they're just mechanical versions of the real thing. But be sure anything you introduce into the vagina is clean before you use it and be careful not to penetrate the vagina too deeply with it.

Sure, as long as you are not experiencing any cramping or bleeding. During the end of your pregnancy, however, it is important to take care in inserting objects (vibrators and such) into the vagina due to the risk of infection. Once you have a break in your amniotic sack, then you and the baby are at risk for infection. You are often instructed to refrain from sex with your partner if your membranes rupture as well. Some people have a small tear or rupture prior to actually going into labor, but your OB/GYN or midwife will be able to give you info. on that topic. There are occasions that could prevent you from having sex during your pregnancy, but as long as everything is within normal limits you will be perfectly fine!

It's always a bit nerve wrecking when you find out you're pregnant but it is safe to continue having sex unless you doctor says otherwise. I was told to abstain until the end of the third month but have enjoyed a normal sex life since and had no complications as a result.
All safe....unless too forceful apparently!!

I am on my 33rd week... it depends on your body and how comfortable are you.. we stop sex during my 6th month. here:
Women who are considered at low-risk for complications during pregnancy are generally given the green light for sex throughout their pregnancy, sometimes right up until the start of labor. Whether the desire for sex is present is a whole different matter. Well-known symptoms like fatigue, nausea, vomiting, breast soreness, and a need to urinate frequently can easily squelch any woman’s libido. The good news is that many of these symptoms diminish by the second trimester, and in fact many women experience an increased desire during this middle period of pregnancy when there is an increased blood flow to sexual organs. The third and last trimester offers its own set of sexual challenges: an expanding belly can make finding a comfortable position difficult and sex often takes a backseat to preparing for the baby’s arrival.

Therefore, it’s perfectly normal for there to be fluctuations of desire throughout the forty weeks of pregnancy and each woman experiences pregnancy differently. Communicating regularly and openly with your physician and significant other during your pregnancy is the key to handling the many changes you and your body will experience

Absolutely! Some woman even enjoy sex more because there is no need to worry about getting pregnant. So as long as you feel well and have an uncomplicated pregnancy, go for it.

It is OK provided you are not bleeding or in pain. See the links below. If you have been having miscarriages in the past then it is best to discuss with your doctor as this may not be advisable

Listen to my answer. After conception your uterus will form a cyst which is completly normal but you must be very careful to not aggrevate it or cause it to become irritated and rupture. That could be very painful. So just be careful and no rough sex.....
