It's not a "standard" service. Assuming they want to get involved you would have to negotiate a fee with their Management Company. There are likely to be plenty of non-financial conditions; transport to and from the venue, standard of accomodation, refreshments in the dressing room....

Well honey you would have to ask a music promoter .I book sixtys bands and 70s bands and the bigger they are the more they ask for. Some bands take a percentage from the door but its all in the contract you present and there manager.And how long they are going to play for and the food that you got to feed them at the end ,So it all depends.I got an Idea

if its for charity then often the fee is waved, especially if its a charity the band supports (im sure Green Day would be sympathetic to a stop the war rally etc)

You need to contact their agents. Contact their record company for agent details. Price depends on many things. Where (will they have to travel there), how long, venue, seating capacity etc etc.

offer something they need and then barter cos in my opinion only like millionaires can afford private concerts for stars like the two you mention.
