A lot...lol I know Brett Emerton of the Socceroo's averaged 12.8 in this WC and he missed the game V Italy, so I would say between 10 and 15 as a guess.

Depends on the position.
A midfielders can run up to 7-9 miles a game with the strikers and defenders around 5-7 miles. The referee runs about the same distance as a midfielder.
There exceptions, as Kasam noted. LOL
As a referee, the most I had to run in a day was around 25 miles. But that was several games over the course of the day with 10-14 year olds, so there weren't any particularly hard sprints.

Apparently for a midfielder in the English Premiership it's around 25 miles (just short of a marathon). The BBC were talking about it during one of the build up programmes.
However, Ronaldo probably didn't manage 25 metres in the game last night...

clever strikers like Ronaldo will not run more than 200-300 metres. But some mid fielders and play makers will run upto 12-14 kilometres in a match

Depends on the player, e.g. Ronaldo - about 200 yards. Or Robben - atleast a few miles.

It depends which player.
A keeper wouldn't be much.
Most way too far.
They should play table football instead. It's easier.
