it is human nature to believe that there is some super power that exists in the world/universe. also believing that a/the god(s) gives a feel-good experience. men think that, when some thing happens which can not be explained by him (out of his reach), it must be because of some yet unknown X factor and that X factor is usually called the god.

Atheists do not believe in god. Most do because they need an organization whose members share the same beliefs as they do.

Not all the people believe in GOD and even within the people believing in GOD, not all are really faithful and whole-heartedly
