Wagon R is a better bet than an Alto becuse it is superior in terms of performance, space & build quality!!! Plus it is good for tall drivers, has excellent Engine for good pick up & Refinement!!! It is excellent value for money!!! You should buy It!!! An Alto is brought simply for its low price & superior fuel economy!! It looks better than slab sided Wagon R But it is cramped &performance is mediocre!!! Depending on your preference, choose the car!! Also there a Discount of nearly Rs. 55,000 if u book it now!!!! But if u can wait, I heard there a A New wagon R coming with Better Interiors & looks!!!

Please provide information about the utilization and criteria & region the position u will be using. Now both the vehicles were equipped on an same platform. Alto = WagonR - a million cylinder. Of course the Wagon R is better, for its more powerful engine, looks, boot space, and in alll contexts than an Alto.........
Alto also is not bad...... But of the two the Wagon R is better...

any day Wagon R bro a lot more powerful engine n now available with air bags so a lot more safer to drive a wagon R than alto

if you go for mileage you cud go for the alto but if you prefer looks and styling u cud go for wagonR.i cud give you details of both the cars. Mileage of wagonR [overall] is 13.5 kmpl.go for the Lxi version which is a better value.avoid non-power steered Lx.In my opinion the best colour is metallic yellow.price of the wagonR Lxi is 4.05 approx. For the alto the u get overall mileage 15.75 kmpl.go for the Lxi version and the best colour is blue or silver.Hope you get best of cars.all the best. bye

Alto can be used for long journey but Wagon R is spaceous
