I'd take Admiral (in his prime) over TD. many people will say they would take Duncan because he's got the fresher legs.
Had Robinson been a rookie with the Spurs 7 years after Duncan was a Spur, you would see a lot more folks say they would pick Robinson. People tend to forget that David never had a mentor like he was for Duncan, people forget that he played for 5 different coaches, In the 90's David was never surrounded by the quality of players that Duncan has today, You have to understand also that the league is much weaker now than it was 10 years ago, I love the Spurs and I love Duncan, I just think people forget how good Robinson was back in the day.

For what, my team, i'd have to say Tim but that's cuz I've watched him since Wake. He's a great player. Robinson is a little before my time besides the work I saw when he and Tim were together. I know Robinson helped Tim out when he frist started, kind of made him part of the family.

Tim for sure, Robinson never handed me a jersey but Tim did.

Now outside of b-ball, I like Robinson's character more, Avery over him.

I give the offensive edge to Duncan, but the defensive edge to Robinson, and defense wins games. A proven fact in all sports. Something Duncan doesn't really like working at the way Robinson did.

Robinson was a better talent but duncan is a better winner. Robinson couldnt win withougth duncan. Duncan won a ring last year withought robinson. Duncan has better fundamentals and is an all around better leader and teamate, but robinson had more strength and overal talent.
