I have not had a regular period since I had my daughter 9 months ago. Before that (for 12 years) I would know within a 3 day span when I would start. I now go 1 1/2 or 2 months between periods. My daughter was born by c-section, and my labor was induced.Do you think this is something to worry about and am I still ovulating every month or not?

To put ya mind at rest speak to a Doctor. They will have some answers for you and if they don't they will investigate. In the meantime take it easy, relax, and enjoy your time with the baby! Remember Stress can effect your cycle and your body has been through a lot recently, so book yourself an appointment to help put your mind at ease.

If you are still getting your period I would think you are ovulating. It just means your cycle changed. It happens to a lot of women after they have there first child. I think that you should talk to your ob/gyn in order for him/her to answer all your questions and you can be on the safe side.

there are many things that can affect a woman's period...stress is sometimes one of them...so maybe the stress is whats kept your period to returning to normal...even though it is normal for a woman's period to be messed up after giving birth...for a point in time i dated a girl who had a 2 year old...when we started getting intimate she let me know it was normal for her to get her periods almost every other month and it had been that was since she had her daughter...there was a time we thought she was pregnant because she didn't get a period for almost 3months

Are you breastfeeding? A lot of women don't even have their periods until they stop breastfeeding. If that's not the case I woudl definately talk to my doctor. There may be something going on in there.
