The best way to feel good about yourself is to do something nice for someone else. This really works..try it!

You have to stop thinking and feeling negatively and start to think more positively. It also depends upon what it is you are feeling negative about - do you feel that way about yourself? or the world in general? If you feel negative about yourself, then you should look in a mirror and compliment yourself. At the same time, you should tell yourself that you are just as good as anyone else, and you deserve the same good things and experiences that everyone else gets.

It may take a while to turn this negativity around, but keep at it and in time you'll see things in a whole new light.

Try to figure out why you started to see so many things negatively in the first place and that might give you a clue.

I felt the same way...this is going to sound stupid but after trying every medication there is for depression one day I decided to just BE POSITIVE seriously. I just refused to let myself think about all the bad things. I just told myself that whether or not I am miserable today, today is still gonna come so why bother being miserable... I dont know about you but in my life no one really cares or notices if I am feeling negative so I realized it was only hurting myself
Just decide that you arent going to live feeling negative all of the time and always take a moment to stop and look on the bright side of things.

First thing every morning, before you get up, think about some small thing you did the day before that made you feel good. "Boy, those flowers I arranged sure did look good". "I really liked the way that meat loaf came out". "I think I did pretty good handling that argument between Janie and Susie".

Just think of something YOU did that made YOU proud of YOU. Then go be good to someone else, after you have you on the right track.

They don't have to be big earth shaking things, just little things you did that came out well.

It works. I know from experience.

just believe in yourself jessie. i know the feeling cuz i used to feel the same way at one point of time. but just build up the confidence in u and know what your doing or talking about. As people start appreciating your work and your words you'll get better. just hang in there!!

Become a specialist in something..thats the best way to get confidence..
When you have an great love and interest, you won't worry about yourself...too much to learn about life...

find something you love to do and keep doing it. this should help you build up your confidence as you get better and better at it.
do things that make you happy. make friends talk to people the more people you make friends with the better.
say to yourself everymorning and last thing at night something like i'm amazing i'm wonderful I'm beautiful' i'm good at this and great at that, write this down, record yourself saying it play it back to yourself everyday.
if people choose to spend time with you thats a positive it means they at least like you enough to spend valuable time with YOU!!
Think to yourself it's a wonderful world and there is always someone worse off than me.

You need build your self confidence. Know what you have done right is a good way to begin with.

Once you know you are capable making a right decision. You will tend to doubt less about your own views.

there are many ways . i can expline some of them for you.
you can write in the paper any thing which you have in your life and you like it and enjoy it. like i am so nice girl. i am kind girl.
i have pretty room. then in another paper you have to write any thing which is negetive which you think it is negetive. and after that you can burn it.
befor you go to sleep when you go in your bed. you should imagin you are very good and positive in every thing and you have to imagine that your body just maded from positive energy.

i had the same problem not too long ago. i would always think and say to myself: " I'm so ugly and stupid" i would say it all the time. i had bad self image problems. what really helped me is thinking good things about myself and hearing other people say good things about me. its really hard to make yourself stop thinking that way, but its not impossible. for every bad thing you say about yourself say a good thing even if it seems too hard or you think theirs nothing. just do it. its going to take weeks for your self esteem to get better, but its worth it.
