Hell, no!! I'm sure everyone over the age of 16 (and I suppose under the age of 60!) who answers this is doing exactly the same thing! Unless you work for some kind of altruistic world-healing organisation, then they're just taking your time to make someone else richer and using up your life for something that's (probably) not that relevant anyway. It's one way to get a little bit back, isn't it? I mean you might be a heart-surgeon, or working on a cure for cancer, but probably not...

It isnt wrong till you are caught! LOL!!
But really, spending some time on Y!A while at work doesnt do any harm, you can just take it as a break from office work. But spending many hours daily is not right, and its bound to be discovered sooner or later. So its better to practice restraint and use it in moderation.

If there is "work" to be done that needs doing that you're responsible for than it's wrong. If you're in a position where you have lulls, or if you do it on you're breaks it should be ok.
But if someone wants you out of a job they can use it as an excuse even if you used it during your free time.

If you were the employer, paying an employee and that person was using his time to do this you probably would not be too happy about it. During breaks and lunch hours would be fine but otherwise I would have to say it's wrong.

If I was your employer I would say; yes but I do it too so I'm going to say; no. But do make sure that you get the work expected from you otherwise if your boss comes and sees that you've done nothing then he might just fire you. Do everything in proportion!

only if your work load is suffering because of it. computer games are being introduced back into office environments (not in my office) as they are supposed to give the workers a chance to chill but not leave their desks.

Your doing this because your enjoying it. Sometimes you need a break. It just fine as long as your not doing it the whole day.

Yes. You are defrauding your company and abusing their trust. Mind you, if you have a boring, crappily paid job then stuff em!
