In the Old Stone age, the people stone items used were rudimentary and served limited purposes. Also, these people were still primarily hunter/gatherers and lived in small groups known as clans. New stone age people are more advanced and have found a wider use for stone. They have are making earthenware pots and so forth for food storage, cachement etc They are also at this time finding out about farming and beginning to establish settlements since the hunter/gatherer life is more diffcult due to population boom, over-hunting etc. The new stone age is also when they start discovering metal and using it for a few purposes.
