Ur computer is infected by some spyware. Try some good antispyware to remove the spyware. Or u can use opera or mozilla as ur internet browser. U can download System Mechanic (this is one damn thing u should hav), it can speed up ur pc, it has a anti virus (optional), anti spyware and lot of inportant and its not free, but u can use it for 30 days trial. And one thing always try to use a firewall.

You should be running Norton Antivirus software, and you can easily get a hold of SPYBOT (search and destroy), and ADAWARE. Those last two programs should get rid of the AD virus's that are slowing down your system. It's not hard drive resources that is slowing it down because 32gigs is enough for caching files so that the system can maintain a normal speed. You probably visited a website that injected you with an AD virus, search for those two programs and run them. Remember to update the definition list within each of those programs.

If you click Processes there is a list of programs that are running. Click it where it says CPU next to username and mem usage to sort by highest CPU usage. That will tell you which process is behaving badly. It could simply mean that a program is behaving badly. It couldn't hurt to have 1 GB. It's usually the reason most computers behave slowly.

even though i have 1 gb of ram 256 mb of graphic card and amd athlon processor 3000+ of 2.4 ghz i used to have the same kind of problem.actually that is caused due to excess memory load or excess memory gauge.it is also caused by internet clutter or prefeched cache or any other junk files .i used system mechanic 5 and system mechanic 6 professional(system mechanic 6 pro setup from iolo.com is corrupted!!! you must have to update it in order to make all processes of it work).this helped me not only to decrease my memory load but also kept my pc free of junk filesand spyware adware and malware.please dont use avg , use norton antivirus as ur pc may also contain adwares or spywares.click on this site toget system mechanic 6 http://download.sjc.iolo.net/sm/6pro/trial/SystemMechanic6Pro.exe

Try cleaning your temp files and your cookies...they can slow down your comp. But it sounds to me like you may have adware or malware. If you have an anti-spy program, run it and delete everything it finds.
To clean temp files: go to "Control Panel" in your Start Menu....then "Performance and Maintenance"....then "Free Up Space on your Hard Disc"...click "OK"....then wait and click "OK" again
To clean cookies: Go to "Tools" in your upper bar...then "Internet Options"...then click on "Delete Cookies"....and then hit "OK" on the bottom of that same box.....this will knock you off of messenger tho and you'll have to sign back in.

Uninstall all the progrtams you're not using (especially shareware which might have spy software), then defragment your hard drive. If IE keeps crashing, it means you probably have some kind of spyware that your virus detector is not picking up.
