no i guess they wre just defeated by the experience factor in the french side with the likes of Zidane, Viera and Thuram

The french were more experienced than the spanish so they made use of their chances and plus the referee made way too many calls in favor of them...Spain didnt have their famous goalkeeper Santiago Canizares ..he would have been useful for that match

I think once France made that second goal, Spain fell apart. They are a great team, but France wanted it more.

No they had a great team i thought they would go all the way but France had luck on its side and that goal from zidane looked like offsides to me .

no...actually you are right their national basketball and handball teams are champs they should have probably sent those guys instead of footballers...:)
