If you want India to become Superpower the way western countries are enjoying presently and suffered earlier during two world wars recall the lectures of Max Mueller addressed to ICS cadre students under the caption "I point to India" extolling the virtues of Indian Thought and Civilization of Life.Come to the understanding that corruption in the west is probably subdued by the potential of high industrial creativity where as in India highlighted due to abject poverty both of minds as well as methods required for industrial civiliztion being basically an agricultural supported country. India need not wie with the West to become a super power but reform and adopt itself thro' congenial methods building herself free from greed and evil and become an example to make humanity realise the true definition of its existence. Ways of the west : They think and plod and develop diligently to break their brawn and suffer silently.

You don't think they already are? They have nuclear weapons, russian planes, missiles, subs, a carrier, destroyers, not to mention 1 of the worlds largest militaries. Their population more than triples ours. Yeah if anyone is as close to being a super-power its india and china. They both have huge militaries, but they just don't have the capabilities that gives us an advantage. India and China are both wealthy countries... and if they wanted to pump some into their military... who knows what could develop? I can guarantee you... the U.S. will not let anyone's military get as powerful as ours. Now if it was us against the rest of the world... without using nuclear weapons... we'd probably get smacked up.

No, India needs to distrube the wealth before it becomes a "super power". It will spawn a elite group of powerful people but without better distribution of the wealth it will have a growth limit that prevents it from moving on to super power.

well not. corruption is like termites eating the tree internally and when finally termite have finished it it falls.
india do have a large population and business is coming in their but it couldnot be fruit full if sencirity and dignity is lacking.
