Best college football game ever was Boston College versus Miami in the 1984 Fiesta Bowl. It's the game that made Doug Flutie famous for his Hail Mary pass late in the fourth quarter to win the game against the heavily favoured Hurricanes. The final score was 45-41. Great game! It's also nice the underdog won, especially with the vertically challenged Flutie at the helm.

The best college football game I ever saw was Oklahoma at Oklahoma State in 1988, the year Barry Sanders won the Heisman. OSU's wide receiver, Brent Parker, dropped the game winning touchdown late in the 4th, and OU held on to win 31-28. I was with my best friend, and the stadium was just electric. This was OSU's best chance to beat the hated Sooners since 1976, unless you count the 1983 choke during Jimmy Johnson's last year as coach.

I didn't get to see that game since i was working at the time. My top 2 favorites is the game when Kordell Stewart threw the hail mary touchdown pass to beat Michigan, and the other one is the USC vs Notre Dame game this last season.

Lots of Buckeye fans leaving out the best game Ohio State Vs. Miami 3 OT's and a national title that hung on a wing and a prayer for both sides. Nothing better than a good old fashioned slug fest.

The best game I saw, even though my team lost was the Rose Bowl game between the Univeristy of Miami and Ohio State, jsut a few years back.
I still believe that we got euchered out of that game on that lousy pass interference play when the ball was no where even near him.
Does anyone know what happened to the quarterback for OSU, I know that Ken Dorsey is now with the Browns.

A 42-41 barnburner between Auburn and Florida State in 1984. Men with weak hearts had to be carried from the stadium. The noise was deafening. Possibly the greatest football game ever played, between two very good, very well-coached, and very determined teams. When the game finally ended. The crowd seemed to just sag in their seats from exhaustion.

The best college football game that I ever saw was the 1974 Ohio State/Michigan game. I got engaged at that game and my husband and I went to the Rose Bowl in January for our honeymoon.
