I've been told by lots of men they look elsewhere because there's no mystery left with their long term partners.
Lots of men have told me it's a gender thing..males of all species are designed to go forth & procreate.

I think there's truth in both theories.

Why do women cheat? Either because they have been or are being cheated on, or because someone else is promising them the warmth they're not getting from their current partner.

Now, I understand all the angles, without condoning them.

My promise to myself is unchanged; my promise to every man that's come into my life (all 4 of them).."I will never cheat on you or check up on you! If I'm tempted to do either, I'll be on the next plane out of this place!"
I wish those guys held the same principles!

I'm beginning to wonder if men actually desire & crave a voraciously territorial & jealous woman. Irritating & limiting to be sure, but what an ego boost!

The grass is always greener on the other side..

Folks rush into relationships. They don`t even spend time getting to KNOW each other before they are engaged and getting married.

Thennnnnn, they learn he poots and snores, she drools and has PMS. He belches and she complains and sweats. They learn they have to workevery day, They learn the laundry and dishes have to be done and there is NO Mom to do it. They learn she has a pimple on her butt and he likes to eat pickled herring..

They do not take time to know what the other person even believes. Heck they don`t even take time to know what the other likes in bed. They can`t talk to each other..

They are looking for the perfect person and there isn`t any. So they keep looking.. It is sad and hurtful..

God Bless & hugs From Texas.

Probably because of a lack of respect, and honesty on their part. Most dont cheat to get caught, but because they are not truthful with their partners, and fail to communicate problems with the relationship honestly, or because they are not being truthful with themselves.

Because they're not happy with what they have, but they don't wanna just throw it away or hurt someone's feelings by breaking it off...it's stupid...people shouldn't make commitments they're not going to keep. I've always told my girls to just tell me if they're not diggin' it anymore 'cause they're more than welcome to leave at any time. Better to be a little bummed than to be stabbed in the back...^^^BTW, I've never cheated...it's always been the girl.
