A petition wouldn't do crap. It's up to congress/senate to impeach any president.

Lots. Don't know if it's possible to do it by petition. Impeachment, if the government decided that he deserved it.

Isn't it crazy how controversial our President is? I mean, from very close elections and onto everything else. Seems like we'll never have a president that a huge majority of the people will totally admire. Maybe it's just the times we're in. But, whether one likes or hates Bush, you can definitely see the controversy.

RizzToThaLizz,
Still sour about that 2000 election, eh? Yeah, many liberals can't let go of the past and move forward. I understand. However, the 2004 election, which is more recent, does not agree with your argument.

Here's a link for ya:

"President Bush's decisive margin of victory makes this the first presidential election since 1988 in which the winner received a majority of the popular vote," said Andrew Card, Bush's chief of staff, on November 3. "And in this election, President Bush received more votes than any presidential candidate in our country's history."

_______________

The problem is that many liberals who think impeachment is called for citing low poll numbers, haven't got a clue. You need to educate yourself on how past presidents faced similar situations in their 2nd term in regards to popularity. Clinton's reached an all-time low as well in his 6th year. Lincoln was even less popular during the end of his first term.

EDUCATE, DON'T HATE

The people cannot remove a president in any way, so even if you got 300 million signatures, it wouldn't do you any good. Only Congress can remove a president, using the impeachment process: impeach him (accuse him, from the House), hold a trial in the Senate, with the Chief Justice presiding, and if guilty, remove him. Fat chance, given the Republicon hold on Congress.

Not even possible......The American public does not matter. Notice how George Bush can lose the popular vote but still win the election? If you aren't in Congress your opinion doesn't mean ****. And America claims to have a "democracy"...

It wouldn't do anything. The people can't sign out a president, only the senate and congress can impeach him.
