If you mean which day of summer has the longest period of sunlight, it's the SECOND day.
Since the Summer Solstice occured at 7:26 am on June 21, 2006 (the point at which the Tropic of Cancer intersects the Plane of the Ecliptic, which is defined by Earth's orbit around the sun), the first hour and forty-three minutes of daylight on June 21 took place at the tail end of Spring.
As such, June 22, was the first to have its entire period of daylight in Summer.
For the next six months, until the Northern Hemisphere Winter Solstice (Dec. 21, 2006), each day will be roughly one minute shorter, and each night one minuite longer than the day/night that preceded them.

The longest day of the summer is the first day of summer, June 21, (for the northern hemisphere). Did you know on this day you can make an egg stand upright on its smallest edge?

The Sumer Solstice just passed. It's about June 21-22.
From now on, our days get shorter sunlight, until the Winter Solstice, Dec. 21 or so.then the daylight gets longer.
