Was this a serious question? (Sorry) Bush doesn't have the power. He is not an Emperor or dictator. Wars don't start because a president let it happen Congress voted on every war we have been in except Vietnam and that was voted on as a POLICE ACTION. Congress sets the spending limits remember. Bush wouldn't and Congress wouldn't that happen is they could and not many people really want to attack us here, we don't respond well to that sort of thing just ask Japan, Germany Afganistan Spain or Mexico.

I would like to think that we as a people could keep it from happening here, but..........I am sure Iraq didn't want us to start a war over there. There are some things a President just can't stop. And please don't call him a cowboy. My 2 year old boy wore cowboy boots and a hat and it didn't make him a cowboy. Besides that hasn't got a dang thing to do with it. The only one who could stop a war from happening here is God. We don't know what He might allow to happen. Let us not forget, Iraq did not fly planes into the ground or world trade center. No there hasn't been anymore planes flying into bldgs., but what about those men in Florida last week? Also, what about the bombings in London? Weren't they helping fight in Iraq? Why did they get bombed? But to answer your question, no I don't think he would allow it to happen, I just don't think he could stop it.

Why do you think we are fighting the war on terror where it is centrally located? Apparently there are some politicians who would rather it take place in Boston, New York City, Atlanta, Chicago, Omaha, Seattle, Boise, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, etc. (But not in MY voting district. Hell man, that would cost me votes!)
You got that right buddy. Looking forward to the election in November when the country expresses what they think of your cut-and-run politics just to gain a few bucks from the mass murderers who have killed thousands of our citizens, tortured our people, hacked off their heads, and desecrated their bodies.

um no...haha...people like you are so funny...war does all of those things to a country...i agree with you on that...however..the reason why we are in war is because we were attacked...they killed 1000's of Americans for no reason...so we retaliated...and also the way that things are in Iraq werent good b4 we went in there anyways..everyone knows that ppl like Saadam Hussein tortured and killed his own people before the U.S. was even involved in that equation..Bush also sent our troops into Iraq to aid them in there fight for freedom..UHHH..OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM...ring any bells?? so yea...i definitlly believe that Bush would never let that happen to us in our country..he does a good job keeping this country safe...have we gotten bombed again over here since 9/11?? uhhh nooo...get a life...and stop trying to blame all the mishaps and wrong doings in the world on the president...he doesnt control erverything ya know...

Not sure if you meant this as attack on Bush or not.. kinda seems that way. And if you did, let me ask you.. do you think *any* president would let there be a war here? Not that we could really *keep* it from happening, but I think any president would choose there over here.

So yes he is not paying any attention again, and won;t until he can generate a vote by throwing money that we don't have at it.

no he wouldnt let that happen because the other people in the government wouldnt allow it i think they would have to vote in the the house first to decide if they want to fight a war over here and the people wanting to go to war over here would have to come first and our army wouldnt allow them to get over here.

I have to admit, after 911 he has almost disappeared. But remember one thing, our President is a cowboy. I doubt it if he would hide when there is a fight. So I have to say no to this one.
