hi my nae is kim and i have a 12 yr old stepdaughter. well i was doig laudry one day and i think there was lood in her uderwear....so what should i do?

first of all don't accuse her, try going out to lunch and just starting a conversation about birth control, not that you want her to be having sex but you really don't want a unwanted pregnancy. don't make a big deal out of it just talk with her, chance are she has already done the deed, BUT I am sure it wasn't what she thought it would be like ...good luck

12 year olds certainly do masturbate, both boys and girls.
At 12 she is probably starting her period, I was almost 10 when I got my period for the first time. You might want to either try talking about it with her yourself or ask her mother first if she is still in the picture if she would rather talk to her herself. I am not saying that it is not your responsibility, but if she is still in her daughter's life she should make that decision.

she probably started her period, not done anything sexual. you should try talking to her about her period and how to "treat" it. buy some pads and have a nice talk with her. being 12, she probably will act like she isnt listening/doesnt care, but trust me she'll be listening and end up thanking you in the long run. when you approach her, dont come on strong be nice and start off with small talk and what not.

Be courageous and just ask her if anyone has ever explained about her period. Tell her you know she's just twelve so you wanted to know. If you act like it's a big deal she'll be embarrassed.

dont mention anythin about it, make sure she knows that u are ther for her if she wants to talk but dnt force her to talk to ya. that way she will feel in control of the situation and will feel like she has her own responsibility
