eye liner is it too???????

im 13 and everyone wears it at my school. i dont want to wear eye liner jsut case everyoen else does though. anyway i have a brazilian complex and i tried wearing eyeliner once and i admit i look really good. but the problem is i look like a girl that boys will drool over. i look about 3 years older. my parents will think its wierd, i never wear make up my parents let me but i dont really wear it. now that i found eyeliner i like how it makes my eyes look deeper with my black eyes. but im afriad i look to sexy for a 13 year old... shoud i wait a few years? for some reason scince i have balck hair, tan skin and black eyes the eyeliner seems to pop out more. most of the girls at my school are blondes and it doesnt do this with them

You seem to be naturally pretty. I suggest you wait a few years as you said, especially because once you get used to applying eye liner all the time, you'll feel you look tired without it. Eyeliner is one of the things you can get really used to and then when you're at the pool or when you've just washed your face people will think you look ill and pale.

Two things:

1. It doesn't matter if everyone wears eyeliner at your school. Don't always follow the crowd.. sometimes it will get you in trouble.

2. Eyeliner is very basic and can help your eyes pop and look gorgeous. I don't think it will be that bad if you wore eyeliner.. just stick to the basics.. no powder, foundation, blush, etc. The natural look is ALWAYS more sexy than a clown.

I also have your skin complexion and find that black or dark blue eyeliner is very attractive. Wear a little lipgloss and you'll be set! =)

If you're uncomfortable with the way people (esp guys) look at you when you've applied eyeliner or whatever, then don't use it. It's a good thing that you know that you're too 'sexy' for your age.

You can strike a balance by applying eyeliner or light make-up when you go to a party or a school social or for lunch/dinner at a nice restaurant, or a special occassion like a birthday.

if you like all the atentioun you get from the guys and i am 13 to and eyeliner is the main makeup i wear!! but you should be proud that the guys drool all over you and other girls are jelious. and it is nice to make your self look a little older soo if you like how you look i think you should keep wearing the eyeliner!

you sound very good looking already.......... you yourself said you dont want to be a girl the guys drool over and if thats what you will end up being with eyeliner then dont wear it and wait a few years. I guarantee the guys will still be there at age 16. Good luck Hon!

It doesn´t. yet take a good care of your eyes. Don´t use low-priced eyeliner and on a each day foundation get rid of all of it earlier you pass to sleep. I didn´t and it brought about me eye an infection. So if you're eliminating it then you do not have any longer something to be fearful about :)

i think 13 is too young an age for you to be worrying about issues like make-up and what boys think of you. you'll have plenty of time for that in your older years, perhaps when you turn 16 (?) and then a looong time after that. 13 is an age that you should have no cares about doing the things you want to do (because you're old enough to do it and too young for anyone to make you responsible for your actions...haha!). so just enjoy the experience of your age. eye liners have been around for ages! experiment if you want...but i think it's nonsense to worry about what others will think of you.

i have the same problem..im 13 and everyone wears it at my school. but when i dont wear it i look like i havent slept for days. so now i dont use it as much. i guess you should use it once in a while. like in parties or special invents. since your naturally beautiful you shouldnt have a problem.

You've already answered your own question. It looks good on you, but it makes you look much older than you are, which you say you don't like. Wait a few years until you're about 16, you don't need it now anyway.

girl you sound gorgeous already, and you have smarts to go with your good looks. wait awhile. you dont have to do it cuz others are, and i think its AWESOME that you dont want to look too sexy in front of guys. i know how stuff like htat can feel, and coming from a modest religion, a friend like you would have been great. let your natural beauty and intelligence show.
