My son, Sam. He is 18 years old. The reason I think he is the greatest hero of the year is that every single day, he has the courage to make good decisions regarding drugs, fast driving, alcohol, unprotected sex and all the other things that kids have to face today. If a hero is defined by his courage and the sacrifices he makes for the betterment of others...then Sam is truly a hero. I'm sure he is easily joined by thousands of other mature teenagers. Its a tough world out there.
