Though he's been gone for 20 years, Terry Fox would be my choice for most influential person here in Canada. He battled Cancer in his leg, had it amputated and ran across Canada to raise money for the terrible disease (with a prosthetic leg). He died trying to do this and his memory and legacy lives on forever!

Sadly the most influential person in Canada is no longer with us. Terry Fox united the world in trying to find a cure for Canada.
Of the living it would have to be David Suzuki. He has brought environmental concerns to the forefront, influencing a lot of changes in the way we treat this planet. His life has been spent educating people about complicated issues, in an interesting and straight forward manner and makes us take a good look at ourselves and our society.

at the moment it is koebi kuhn - he is the coach of the swiss national soccer team.
switzerland is such a small country but we made it very far in the world champion ship (we could have even gone further if not for the stupid penalty...)
so at the moment he is our hero because he is such a good coach

at the moment i would have to say nicole kidman she handled the media beautifully when dealing with her wedding i have never really been a fan but i must say i am very proud of her.

without a doubt... Dave chappelle... he isnt even really that funny, but he makes you think hes a comical genius when he had a staff of writers makin his jokes for him
