I have stream coming from under the hood of my 04 Ford Taurus and I what to know what could cause that?

It could be all of the things that were mentioned, I would suggest that you find out what it is because it could lead to more serious problems in the future. Steam means that you are losing coolant, if the level gets low enough you could overheat and cause additional problems.

Check all of the coolant hoses under the hood. Probably one of the 2 going back to the firewall to feed the heater core. Those are called heater hoses. There's probably a pin hole in one of them. Fix it fast!! You can go to the parts store and buy it in bulk....just a 4 or 5 food section should do....it will be 5/8" heater hose.

It could be the water pump seal,raditor.or as simple as a hose leaking.

either rain is hitting your radiator, or some other liquid, that instantly evaporates. either that or you have a coolant leak, (BAD)
