I went to Salt Lake City on a mission trip a couple summers ago...I'm Baptist...so it was a little weird going into Mormon territory...generally the overall population was very nice...everybody seemed very caring and willing...but at far as the Mormon religion goes...wow...we took a tour of the church and stuff and the tourguides were very pushy about th emormon religion and they just seemed like thye were very well trained to answer the typical questions...but like some of the questions just blew that poor little girl out the water...she was speechless...but they really believe hardcore in their faith and that is fine but they were real pushy about it...in a weird way and they were way too happy...and the more than one wife thing...kinda creepy...

I live in Utah. some people here are good, some here are not so good. I would say it depends on what you are looking for and where you were looking. if the people you met offended you that is a shame.

Just like anywhere else; that is, most folks are friendly, but there are a few that look down on non-whites.
