7mm = 0.27559 inches

1/4" = 0.25" or... 6.35mm
17/64" = 0.265625... or 6.74688mm
9/32" = 0.28125... or 7.14375mm
5/16" = 0.3125

Those are the most common drill bit sizes in SAE measurements... none come to exactly the same as 7 mm. If you want something just slightly smaller, then you want the 17/64" -- tho, that may be a hard to find size.... a 1/4" inch bit is only 6.35mm, slightly smaller. a 9/32" bit.. which you can find in every hardware store, is slightly larger, coming in at 7.14375mm

Most common drill bit sets will carry the 1/4" and the 9/32".

Below is a link to an eBay search for "7mm drill bit" ... there are several different types, from diamond, to masonry bits.

Good Luck!

1 Inch is 25.4 mm, so you want about 1/4 inch or 3/8

6.35mm To Inches

1 inch = 2.54 centimeters... sooooo... give me a sec...

1/4 inch is too small, so probably 5/16 or 9/32 (not likely to have that, I think).
