Which thumb is on top when you clasp your hands together?

i agree with Grant G. that it has to do with which hand you write with. since most of the population is right handed, i would most definitely say that most would favor their left thumb over their right when they clasp their hands together because they are right handed and it wraps around the left hand more comfortably; so it doesn't feel as strange when they do the same with their left. me personally, i prefer my left thumb over my right.

For a while scientists thought which thumb on top determined handedness. Turned out to have no reliable correlation. Right thumb on top (most of the time).

Normally the left thumb is on top. But sometimes I switch the thumbs to "right on top", but without switching my fingers from "left on top", if that makes sense.

his example was, let say if u break up with sumone, the left thumb person will get over it faster than the right thumb ppl.
