Because you are affraid to get hurt. And once you admit to someone that you are inlove, or close emotionally to them, then that gives the person power, and once it's gone you want it back, and that creates a different emotion, and that's where the misunderstanding is coming from...you want it back.

Because we always expect more from our close relative and friends , always want then to do what we like .....so here create misunderstanding.

everybody has different feelings about everything.
when one person does something to get"close"
in the other persons mind it could send a completely different message.
why?
nobody knows
how to overcome it?
you just have to try to communicate as best that you can with whoever you are getting "close"

Familiarity breeds contempt.. Love is blind, until the blinders come off. if it was a facade all along, you will eventually see the truth.. or, whoever you've been lying to..."Oh, me, oh,my! No one understands ME!"
