my mother has been an educator for many years and from my undestanding its that now and days, its hard to find real parents. believe it or not, mostly in public schools also. it seems as if the school is just the baby sitter to most parents so the students come to school with no respect or discipline because their parents or single mother dont have time to respectably raise there children. so if you go into education just have your game face on becasue their will be a lot of disrespectful and rude children, but cherish the 1 out of 10 that knows how to act.

The respect for teachers is dimishing at an extremely rapid pace. Niether the students nor our society really respects the profession anymore, when really they are the ones shaping the future. I don't know, I just find it hard to believe that teachers get paid close to nothing, and then we expect to get some of the brightest people to teach our kids. And i don't blame them, when they could major in something else and make much more money.
