Dont get your ordinary mouse traps get the d-con encased trap. Put peanut butter in the circle inside. When the mouse eats the p-nut butterr the trap activates and all you have to do is hold the unit over the toilet and lift the lever. Your hands do not touch the mouse- no mess involved. Reset it for the next one. Where you have one mouse you can be sure you have more. Put the trap wherever you noticed mouse dropping. Keep all dry good like cereals, dog food etc off the floor of your pantry and bottom cabinets. This draws them in.
Dont poison them becuase they could die somewhere in your walls or house and smell. Dont use the glue traps. All I got was a paper full of mouse hair. They escaped it. Trus tme and get teh balck plastic D-con trap. It has a cover onit. so you see no mess all you see is the tail and you dump it.

I have lots of experience with this. Put mouse traps(snapping kind) along outer walls and behind things where you have seen them. Make sure to keep out of reach of children and other pets. Put just enough peanut butter on for the mouse to smell, not a big glob. You will mostly catch them at night.l You may have an increase of field mice from too much rain or leaving pet food outside, they are coming in from a small hole in a wall somewhere or if you have a new water line or sewer line where water can go out of the house, also the dryer vent may have a hole in it. Do not handle the dead mice with your hands because rodents are carriers of salmonella. Hope this is very helpful to you.

Was it a rat, or a mouse? As a rule, mice will go away rabbits on my own. However, rats are drawn to rabbit cages by means of the meals in there. Rats will assault and injure- might be now not kill- the rabbit, and those bites will also be severe, getting inflamed or even via to the muscle and bone.. A rabbit may not assault a rat, however might damage/kill a small one by chance. If it is a significant, wild rat, the rabbit is more likely to get harm after which the rat will slip away. Basically, quit seeking to determine this out and guard your rabbit by means of taking pictures the rats- if now not for my part, with pest manipulate. Wild rats are vermin, and so they must be destroyed, particularly if one more animal is at chance. (Actually, 'Me Awesome', you naturally realize not anything. Rats, like men and women, are OMNIVORUS. That method they may be able to consume frequently something, for this reason why they accomplish that good as wild animals. They may not try to EAT the rabbit, however wild rats are vicious and can chunk each wild and home pets.)

Walk the perimeter and search for holes. Kill them?! Love them! cement the holes or place a poison of sorts in them and cover them. Kill them?! Love them! In your home you should place traps in various crevices and dark spaces. Kill them?! Love them! Poison in the house would be a good idea, too. Within a week they should be exterminated. You'll have killed the mamas and the papas of the babies and the babies can't survive and so they too die. This is an outrage! Baby killer! Good luck!
