if you are 18 or older and don't like the way your family treat you move out.

It all depends on your age. If you are older and can support yourself then it would be a different answer. If you are still in school you need help to communicate with your parents. Don't use friends for this help. A good counselor can help you to communicate your needs to your parents. Your friends will only make things worse. My child got in with the wrong crowd of friends and assumed we were being "mean" when all the time we were just trying to protect and guide her. If you are being abused, then a counselor will guide you. There is no easy answer to this question, but running away never solves anything and usually causes more pain than necessary. Mirmarent

absolutely not. unless they are beating you, its their house so its their rules. Period. Don't compare your parents to anyone else parents unless you don't mind if your parents compare you to a sibling or someone else's kids. I don't know about you but I didn't like that.

So here are your options. Stay there follow the rules and get through it. We all have had to. Or you can leave get a job support yourself and pay your own way. You have the rest of your life to do that, so just stay home.

Before I could give you an answer to your question I would need more information, like how old are you? How are they being mean to you? Are they truly being mean, like abusive, or just setting rules that you don't like?

only if you are 18 or order, but prepare and get ready to leave, that means you have to support yourself. once you leave, maybe you will have a better relationship with your parents, good luck.

Hell no, because you will be coming back as soon as you thought about leaving. A home is better than starting from scratch.
