Yes, and very important stuff, too. Here is some advice that really helped me: It's comvienent to have a trashcan right next to your desk, but stuff can fall in there ALL the time, especially if you have a lot out, (read: messy) and are very busy. Skip ahead to two days later, you empty the trashcan not even thinking about stuff could have fallen in there by accident. WHOOPS. Bye! I was lucky enough to find a videogame, a $100 pen I got for graduation, a DVD and 2 CDs in the dumpster before the garbage truck came. A lot of stuff is just gone for good. So, the moral of the story is move your trashcan across the room. It's good to make yourself get up to throw it away anyway, instead of being glued to the chair all day. Hope this helps. - JK

Embarassing to say but I lost a library book and then found it in the trash because I had accidentally thrown it away while I was cleaning.

Yes, I have. I thought I had lost my remote control, and then found it in the garbage. I have also lost my wallet only to find it in the fridge.

Yes, it's called toddler kids. Now I only search areas no higher than 2 feet. Yeah, it's the garbage can!

Not in the trash.

I have, however, found my glasses in the freezer one time. That one got me for awhile....
