I can remember laying there and thinking one day I am going to grow up and they will have computers then and I am going to meet an Angel on one. And 61 years later I met an Angel. The only problem that came out of that was "she lived half way around the world." Now as the friendship grew, this Angel seems to be right next to me.

1955 - Disneyland was born! Next to me being born, it's the 2nd greatest thing that happened that year. I should do the same as Disneyland and celebrate my 50th birthday (I was born in December) all year long this year!
To the person that said "Rocky Horror Picture Show" came out ... I was surprised to see it was playing this week at a local movie theater. My kids, husband and I all adore the movie and the music.

I don't think no person under the age of 1 can remember the year they was born it will to be told to them later on in life either by there parents or other persons.

I don't remember anything from the year I was born. Granted, I was born at the end of the year, so I'd have to have some crazy memory skills to remember anything.

I only have one memory of being a baby. I remember the sitter putting me in my crib and crying. It wasnt anything great, but it was something and I don't think many people can remember things from the year they were born.

I'm not sure you'd call it great, but it was a major event. I was 10 months old when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. Since I'm not perfectly clear on what you want for an answer, my first memories start when I was 2.
