Earlier this year I visited Universal Studios in Florida. I totally recommend that, you get the best of both worlds, a movie studio theme park and plenty of roller coasters in Islands of Adventure. I recommend Spiderman, the 3D roller coaster in Islands of Adventure and Twister in Universal Studios. (O.k. Twister's kind of cheesy and a little dated but it was still a blast). Plus between both parks is City Walk, with great food, drinks and a nice movie theatre.

If you want scary rides, then you should go to Six flags. Universal studios does not have the thrill-rides, but is very fun and interesting, especially if you are a movie buff.
