Way too many divorces, cheating, lying etc going on today.
My parents married for life, that's what am going to do.
Too many people can't work things out. They think divorce is the answer. It doesn't matter who you are with, nobody's perfect.

you know many of the questions on yahoo answers people would have considered them outrageous some years back
good news: there is more openness in the society
bad news: people have less morals today

I completely agree with you 100%!!!! marriage is all about patience and understanding! Some people are too lazy and selfish to try to work things out through difficult times. I want to marry for life,..that's why i'm not rushing into marriage even though i am getting older.

In the age of instant gratification and the "me" generation, people don't know how. Maybe lazy parenting, hoping that schools will teach them, schools, with their hands tied, trying to teach what probably amounts to remedial education compared to years past, coupled with both unable to discipline kids to a reasonable degree. It's the consumer mentality, tired or bored with your spouse, trade up to a newer, sleeker model with better performance!

I've had people tell me that morals & values have changed. I already know that but they only changed to fit the lifestyles of this generation. Morals will never change their colors. They have been changed by a society that is degenerating more everyday. Sad but true.........

Generation gap nothing else............things which were taboo in past years has now become quite common............and plus havin divorce is not a wrong .........it can depend on various reasons..................so it depends on the couple how do they workout wi their marriage.............I feel its a very hard decision........and shudn't be made wid ur eyes shut............no matter how much u love the guy/girl u shud also see various things which are quite important to in a marriage to make it success..............All the best for ur marriage
