I heard that the Harry Potter series drops hints as to what the outcome is supposed to be (the author had the ending written early on I guess), has anyone picked up on them yet?

J.K. Rowling has had the final chapter of the series written since before the first book was out. It's as it was, but with a few minor changes, she says.
As for the seventh book yesterday she said that there would be two main characters killed in it.

I do know a few. Yahoo recently wrote up a news article stating that 2 characters WILL die in the 7th installment. I also picked up that R.A.B., the person who stole the horcrux Dumbledore died for, is Sirius Black's brother, who was mentioned being murdered by Voldemort.
