My CD writer doesnt works. It reads the data on it but doesnt writes and sometimes it doesnt reads at all.?

Use the Spell Check next time. I'm afraid to tell you that your Cd-RW Drive has gone bad. The only thing that you can do is buy another one, or obtain another one. You can download some diagnostic software for CD-RW drives.

Ok, now this might work or not. What you do is when your computer starts up, hit the "esc" button on your computer. This will open up the menu screen on your computer. Go and find your computer settings and go down your CD writer (this might be called the sec salve drive) Enter it and hit the "auto" button on your driver. Hopfully your computer will notic the CD writer and it will begin to work.

Buy a new one. They really don't last long, especially if it came with your computer. Mine lasted about one year, with no extreme use or any other reason for quitting on me. Don't bother spending lots on a replacement, either. USB drives are taking over in storage - but I'm not sure whether downloadable CDs will be replaced anytime soon.
