Why is it that internet explorer will close down on you, but not while you're on "microsoft.com"?

Question

The browser, ie, it will shut down, apologize, ask to send a report if you want, but you never get feedback from Microsoft, and my browser has NEVER shut down while I was in Microsoft.com, so, monopoly? What gives?

P.S. BILL GATES - FEEL FREE TO ADD SOME INPUT, LOL, OR ANYONE FROM MICROSOFT.COM, IF YOU GUYS EXIST, THAT IS.
