some papers i had to get a notary to sign,were signed and sealed by someone other than the notary.the name is a woman but it was a man that signed and stamped the seal.

yea you got skrewed... go get another one done take them to court i dunno.. kinda funny though... reminds me of school when i use to get the kid beside me to sign my mothers name on detention slips and whatnot

Imposter Notaries only void the document if you tell someone it was an imposter.

Check the notary number on the seal and call the local Office of the Clerk and have it verified. If it comes back bad, it's void regardless.

Not good! Just as the notary needs to make sure you are you... The notary has to be who they say they are as well, to make it legal.

Yes. Just go to your bank and explain to them what happened and alot of times they will notorize it from the original date.

Yup, you got screwed. Better go get them renotarized and check credentials this time.
