i guess people hate him for his looks, his arrogance, his fashion sense, his preening before the cameras, his sexual escapades, everything about him. men hate him for being wealthy, having posh as his wife and having any girl he fancies. in short, people hate him because they envy him. that's the way it is.

I don't hate him if i don't like him either! I think he's become too much of a businessman to play as well as he did before mixing with the pop world!
What bugs me is why he's the only one to ever take free kicks, and penalties! A team is ... A team! Each and every players should be trusted to take penalties and free kicks.
Someome suggested he shouldn't have cheated on his wife and this brings me back to the hype of non foot ball publicity he seems to thrive on! I mean remember George Best? Probably one of the best foot ballers there was, then he became a star and we all know how it ended! Foot ballers should stick to foot ball, and Beckham doesn't. So that bugs me because he doesn't actually appear to get his priorities right! So let his fans, and himself down!

its because hes in the public eye so much. all the other players are just sticking with their game so people think hes selling out by becoming some huge superstar.

well for one he is a meterosexual... i dont respect people that do their hair before playing a sport... nonetheless i do respect his ability to curve the ball... i love watching him take a free kick, and was amazed by the goal he scored against ecuador...!
