At least you can feel good about yourself. Do you think that others who do not give, can be truly happy. Just keep on giving and enjoy the feeling. There may be a day when you are no longer able to give and all that you can do is take. If this happens, you can thank God that you were able to give when you were able to give.

Because human kind is very selfish.
Maybe you'll find people who will help you and not expect anything else in return, they are rare, but they exist. Just believe in you and try to discover the "true colors" of the ones surrounding you.
