I would imagine that the south would still have the higher percentage.
I see no reason why the demographics would change. But over all I truly believe that racism is down greatly from years prior.

Race isn't an issue to 90% of Americans.

It is a huge issue to the 10% who have nothing more important to do with their time than complain about racism or other races.

The most common and primary divider between social groups is economics, not race.

I was born and raised in the south and lived in the north for many years as an adult. I hate to say but it is worse in the south. It isn't as blatant in the north. Also in the south it is both ways, not just whites towards blacks. It just keeps going and going with new generations. Very sad.

A NATIONAL issue NO DOUBT! It's just that the majority of those who practice racism, ahem, KKK, are still in the south. :(

its everywhere and nowhere at the same time, very few people are actually racist, it just seems like more than it is and those *** holes like to speak for everyone else. but i've been around and it seems about the same everywhere, it just that in the south its against blacks in the south west its against mexicans, in the north west its against asians. in the north east its againts Indians

It is a national issue. "Little Cuba", "China Town", "Little Havana", The list could go on and on, but just looking around, you can see that "birds of a feather flock together", no matter where you are.
