Had blood tests, allergy tests, sinus polyps removed, tried every antihistimine on the market, had xrays of lungs, all negative results. Been coughing for over 3 years.

Ear candling will stop that. Some people tell me they tried one or two candles and got no relief. I used them and used one after the other until my sinuses opened. I could actually smell the smoke from the candle in my nose. The first time I used them it took me 8 candles in each ear. Now I use 2 or three per ear a month or whenever the drip returns....and am good for another 4-6 weeks.

My mother had sinus surgery and all the same tests and treatments that you have had. You have to wait a year after your surgery but I used them on her after I had such great results and she is now cough free. It is amazing how something so simple can relieve so fast.

You can buy them online at www.lrwhandmadecreations.com. I prefer these because they are made of cloth instead of paper so they are safer. The paper ones fall apart and let embers fall. You also have to trim the paper ones and use a pie plate to protect you. The cloth ones are easy to use. Just follow the directions.

The cough is probably just from the irritation of the drip. You have two choices: (1) Stop the drip: benedryl or other allergy med. (2) Stop the cough: Try a product like Delsym (orange box, brown glass bottle) for 12 hour cough relief. Take a drug holiday about every 2 weeks for a day or two, so it doesn't build up in you body.

Oh, and some of it may be habit by now. Try to stop.

Get yourself an air purifer, a hepa filter is the best.
Don't have your windows open from sunselt until mid morning........this is when allergine are at their highest in the air.
Wash your clothing and bedding in non scented detergent and also use unscented fabric softener. Even your deoderant should be unscented. Do your best to keep your place clean and fresh.
You can get good vacumn cleaners that don't send any of the dust back out in to the room.
Finally, watch what you eat. It could be food allergies.
Also use Robotussin (just the plain kind) Drink lots of water.
Don't have milk products during the times when you are at your worst.

Lay on a pillows a bit elevated when you go to bed.
Try mind control....the more you dewl on it the more it irritates you... it becomes a cycle.

If none of the above works (I am most skeptical about ear candling) then try tilting the head of your bed so that you sleep on a slant. Get the head of your bed up at least 6 inches. Your symptoms could be due to esophageal reflux during sleep, which can sensitize your vocal cords and bronchial tubes the next day.

If your cough is worst in the morning this is likely the culprit.

And of course if you smoke, QUIT.

Apparently the only thing you haven't tried is chiropractic... may be rather surprised what they can do for such conditions. They are always the last resort and have had to make their name on the successes they have, with those types of patients.. those where the medical approach has not been successful.

My aunt uses (no kidding) a shot of whiskey with a tablespoon of pure (not the stuff you buy in the stores, but pure raw from the beekeepers) honey

You need to see an ENT. You may need to have sinus surgery or some other intervention.
